Pro-shop/Golf Manager
DEBBIE GORDON
I am originally from the long-suffering sports city of Buffalo, NY. My husband and I moved to Virginia in 1998 for better weather and jobs. While searching for a home we stumbled upon Aquia Harbour and loved the park-like neighborhood and all its amenities. We have lived here in the Harbour for 25 years.
When I am not working at the Pro Shop or golfing, you will see me out walking or biking, you may even spot me paddling in the canoe. I am a member of the Bluebird Society and help monitor the bluebird trail here in Aquia Harbour. I enjoy watching all sports, but I am mostly a football fanatic, whether it is real football or fantasy football, always rooting for my Buffalo Bills.
Before I started working in the Pro Shop in March of 2022, I worked for a Neurosurgeon for 23 years up in the Woodbridge area. I was mostly responsible for claims billing and accounts receivable, but also scheduled surgeries and procedures, front desk, etc., anything that made the office function.
Although these are not the circumstances in which I wanted to become Pro Shop manager, I am going to do my best to keep the Golf Course pointed in the right direction.
