Adopt-A-Park Program Rules
As a participant, by submitting this application, I/we agree to the following program rules:
1.Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to the HOA’s safety guidelines.
2.Ensure that all volunteers under 18 are supervised by an adult.
3.Maintain the assigned park area regularly as agreed with the HOA (e.g., monthly).
4.Avoid altering park infrastructure or landscaping without prior HOA approval.
5.Report any damage, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to the HOA promptly.
6.Use HOA-provided tools and materials responsibly and return any borrowed items.
7.Dispose of litter properly and recycle whenever possible.
Waiver of Liability
By submitting this application, I/we acknowledge and agree to the following:
1.Participation in the Adopt-A-Park Program is voluntary and at my/our own risk.
2.I/we understand that the program may involve physical activities and outdoor work that carry inherent risks,including but not limited to injury, exposure to natural elements, or interaction with wildlife.
3.I/we release and hold harmless the HOA, its Board of Directors, committees, employees, and affiliates from anyliability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the program, except in cases of gross negligence.
4.In case of injury or emergency, I/we authorize the HOA to seek medical care on behalf of myself/our group.
5.I/we have read and agree to comply with the program rules and guidelines outlined in the Adopt-A-Park ProgramManual.
Additional Information
Applications will be reviewed and approved by the HOA.
Once approved, a Program Coordinator will contact you to finalize the adoption agreement and provide orientation.
