Trash Collection

Points of collection

Trash must be placed at the curb or roadside in a Waste Management provided container only. Any excess trash outside the WM container will not be picked up. Please be sure that the trash container is visible from the street and away from mailboxes.

Pick up times

Our crews begin their route at 5:00 am and normally maintain the same schedule each pick up day. However, the amount of trash varies from day to day, and other factors may impact the routes, making it difficult to guarantee a pick up time. To be assured of pick up, put your trash out by 5:00 am. We encourage our customers to place their trash and recycling containers out the night before scheduled pick up to ensure collection.

Holiday Schedule and Inclement Weather

We observe 4 holidays a year: Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day. If any other holiday falls on a Monday, Waste management will continue to pick up on Monday, but we will pick up only your trash container. Waste Management reserves the right to cancel collection service on days in areas in which we deem the roads unsafe due to snow and ice. Remember that even though your car may make it through your neighborhood street, we will not attempt to drive a large truck on icy, hilly roads. Safety is very important to us. If this happens please note that you trash will be picked up the next scheduled service day so please have all of your trash out at that time. Will pick up the excess outside the toter at that time. No adjustments will be made to your bill.
